Blaimont, Pauline

Pauline Blaimont is a graduate student in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at University of California, Santa Cruz. She is interested in studying how colorful traits in lizards may be linked to immune function (do brighter colors represent healthier individuals?) and maternal investment (do more colorful females allocate more nutrients to their offspring?). Her career goal is to become a professor and be involved in science outreach. Pauline is hoping to get students more excited and involved in the learning process while discovering more effective and handson approaches to teaching science.
